Sugar Hill conducting a 'history search'

SUGAR HILL -- Are you a Sugar Hill history buff? If so, the city wants your help.

In celebration of its new City Hall building scheduled to open by the end of the year, the city is planning a history exhibit. Sugar Hill officials have uncovered some of their own historical documents, but are asking residents for their help finding "photos, first-person stories, documents and even tall tales" to help tell the city's story.

The plan is to have "graphic panels, a video and booklets" on display in the community room at the new city hall when it opens, officials said.

Anyone with information, documents or tips about where to look is asked to call Don Kelemen at 770-945-6716 or email dkelemen@cityofsugarhill.com.
