Mrs. Rosemary Benavides Williams, age 66, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away Monday, June 4, 2012. She is survived by her husband of thirty-seven years, Richard A. Williams, Sugar Hill, GA; son, Ryan David Williams, Houston, TX; mother, Mary K. Benavides, Saugus, MA; sister, Denise Benavides, Saugus, MA; and mother-in-law, Doris E. Williams, Weymouth MA. Mrs. Williams was born November 26, 1945 in Boston, MA. She was a 1963 graduate of Saugus High School and attended the University of Massachusetts in Boston. She was retired from Relocation Resources, Inc. as a Real Estate Relocation Specialist in Norwell, MA. She enjoyed watercolor painting and attended Level Creek United Methodist Church in Suwanee, GA. She was an active member of several metro Atlanta art associations; Tannery Row Artist Colony and North Gwinnett Artist Association. She was an active member of the Buford Lanier Woman’s Club. She was a former resident of Hanover MA for twenty-nine years before moving to Sugar Hill, GA. She was also a former member of Hanover P.T.A, Hanover Women’s Club, Hanover Garden Club, Plymouth County Board of Realtors, North River Artist Association and Duxbury Art Association. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Lawson officiating. Interment will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Level Creek United Methodist Church in Suwanee, GA in memory of Rosemary B.
