SNELLVILLE -- Eastside Medical Center will host community health screenings later this month.

The screenings will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 21. Offerings will include fasting blood sugar ($3.80), cholesterol ($5), and a total lipid profile, which includes total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL and cardiac risk factors ($17.80).

Participants must fast from 8 p.m. the evening before with no more than a sip of water to take required medication, and should bring their physician's name and address with them.

Registration is preferred and can be completed by calling Medline at 1-800-242-5662.

Screenings will be held in Classrooms 1 and 2 at Eastside Medical Center, located at 1700 Medical Way in Snellville.
