A Suwanee woman was killed in a head-on collision in Forsyth County Friday morning.
Authorities said Cathy Jones, 50, of Suwanee was involved in a two-car collision at Old Alpharetta Road and Wind Haven Drive at about 12:20 a.m. Friday. According to Sgt. Chris Shelton, Jones' 2002 Toyota Camry, traveling northbound, drifted in the southbound lane and collided head-on with another vehicle.
The driver of that vehicle, Samuel Chi Epeagba, 53, of Alpharetta was also killed in the crash.
Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. There were no passengers or witnesses to the accident, Shelton said.
It was unclear what caused Jones to cross into the southbound lane.
The incident is under investigation.
