Elmer Jean “E.J.” Faust, age 92, of Suwanee, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Monday, July 30, 2012 at Bill Head Funeral Home, Duluth Chapel. Mr. Faust, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, was an Army Veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of Duluth First Baptist Church, Duluth Masonic Lodge #480; and was always an active member of his community serving in many different volunteer roles. Mr. Faust leaves to cherish his memory Mary Joyce Downs; Patrice, Rachel, and Michael Buchheit. Daughter, Susan Edmundson; Tiffany Michael, Lilly Neaffer; Richard, Margaret and Cole Edmundson; six grandchildren. Daughter, Nancy A. Shutt; Erika Geist; Hillary and Tessa Shutt; four grandchildren. Sister, Mary Faust Craig; Beth Davey, Bill Davey, David Craig, Scott Craig, Stephanie Ruello; Gary Faust and many other beloved nieces and nephews. The family requests that flowers be omitted and contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Duluth, 2908 Highway 120 Duluth, GA 30096. The family will receive friends on Monday morning from 10:00 am until the time of service at Bill Head Funeral Home, Duluth Chapel (770)476-2535..
