DULUTH -- Georgia Force quarterback Bryant Moniz was named National Guard MVP of the week for the final week of the Arena Football League's regular-season by the league's fans.
The 6-foot, 215-pound rookie out of Hawaii completed 17 of 36 passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two scores to help the Force (9-9) clinch an AFL playoff berth with a 55-48 win last Saturday at New Orleans.
Moniz leads the Force as they open up postseason play with a first-round game at Jacksonville tonight at 7 p.m.
