Two-sport athlete Korey Anderson committed to play for Western Carolina's baseball program this week.
Anderson was part of Grayson's state title winning football team last season as a tight end and helped the Rams to the Class AAAAA semifinals in baseball. Anderson hit .314 with three home runs, second most on the team, and 10 RBIs as a junior. He also had a 1.94 ERA with 16 strikeouts in 21 innings pitched. Anderson was 2-2 with a save. Western Carolina is getting a good arm -- he's hit speeds up to 90 mph -- and power hitter in Anderson.
He is the son of Joe and Kathy Anderson.
