ATLANTA -- What is yellow, purple, red and blue and sings about fruit salad and hot potatoes? That's right -- The Wiggles. The original members Anthony Field, Jeff Fatt, Murray Cook and Greg Page come to the Fox Theatre for two shows on Tuesday.
This is the last tour that the four from Australia will perform together.
"All of our Wiggly friends will be there ... plus, you also get to see the future of the Wiggles, who will be performing with us," purple Wiggle Fatt said.
Along with new members, crowd favorite characters, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, Wags the Dog and Captain Feathersword, plan to make appearances.
"This will be a celebration of the songs that we've written over the years and the children's favorite songs," Fatt said. "It will also be a nostalgic show for some families because they've seen us over the past two decades."
Attendees are encouraged to create a sign, dress up as their favorite characters and interact with the cast as they dance through the aisles of the Fox Theatre.
While Fatt, Cook and Page are hanging up their colorful jerseys, they plan to continue to write, sing and record for The Wiggles in the future, while enjoying other endeavors.
"We're still being involved in the musical side of The Wiggles, writing and performing songs," Fatt said. "We may make cameo appearances in the show and maybe I'll show up on the tour. It will be nice because you're not tied down to make every performance."
Field, the blue Wiggle, will continue the legacy with new members, including Emma, the first female Wiggle in history.
