LAWRENCEVILLE — Eight games back after breaking his left hand, Jordan Parraz is back on the disabled list with another broken hand. Just his right one.
The first-year G-Braves outfielder will most likely miss the remainder of the season with this hand break, suffered Saturday when he was hit by a pitch from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre pitcher Ramon Ortiz.
The Gwinnett Braves did not immediately replace Parraz on their roster.
Signed in the winter as a minor league free agent, Parraz played well in his two short stints with the G-Braves. In 34 games with Gwinnett, the right hander hit .288 with a pair of home runs, a triple and six doubles. He knocked in nine runs and his batting average ranks third among active Gwinnett players. In his second stint of eight games, Parraz hit .217 with three doubles and one of his home runs.
