Gwinnett County middle-schoolers Maisey Rodgers and Alana Crowe helped their Hotlanta girls lacrosse travel team to first place in the Heatwave Lacrosse Tournament in Flagler Beach, Fla. The team went 5-0 in the tourney.
Rogers is a rising eighth-grader at Bay Creek Middle and Crowe is a rising eighth-grader at Hull Middle.
