WINDER -- Specialty home decor retailer Kirkland's plans a grand opening ceremony at its new store at Barrow Crossing in Winder from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 4 and noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 5.
The store will offer free one-on-one consultations with interior designer Shellene Frett.
The new location will employ about 15 people and is one of 295 Kirkland's stores through the nation and its 10th location in the greater Atlanta area. The stores offer selections of decorative items, gifts and seasonal merchandise.
"We are looking forward to welcoming customers to the new Winder store and think everyone will enjoy the one-on-one consultations with Shellene," said Michelle Graul, senior vice president of human resources and stores for Kirkland's. "Customers will see how Kirkland's products can make a room stylish and comfortable at an affordable price."
