Dorothy Barker Rooks, age 94, of Lawrenceville, died Monday, July 16, 2012. A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 am Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Saint Marguerite d’ Youville Catholic Church, Lawrenceville, with Father Jim serving as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville. Mrs. Rooks, born in Seglinville, South Carolina, was a homemaker; and was preceded in death by her husband, John Jerome Rooks. Survivors include her sons, John Jerome Rooks, Jr. of Acworth; Stephen B. Rooks of Acworth; and James F. Rooks of Lawrenceville.
