LAWRENCEVILLE -- Since 2007, the Aurora Theatre has presented Funny Fridays hosting a number of local and national comedians once a month. Beginning this weekend, the venue has added shows on Saturdays, too.
"It's the first time we've changed the days since 2007," said Al Stilo, Aurora Theatre's director of marketing and sales. "This will add more opportunities to get more local performers on the stage."
The new season begins with headliner Matt Mitchell aka "Casino Kid" from the Rick and Bubba radio show. He was also on his own reality show "The Fatchelor" and has been seen on MTV and FOX.There are two Friday and Saturday shows, both at 7:15 and 9:15 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person.
