Gwinnett Daily Post
Just a few days after getting an offer from Georgia, Brookwood senior Shaun McGee jumped on it.
The athletic defensive end/linebacker committed to the Bulldogs on Monday while on a visit to the Athens campus, according to Broncos head coach Mark Crews. The UGA coaches offered McGee, who had become a rising star on the recruiting circuit, last Friday.
McGee had a number of ACC and SEC offers, including one from Alabama, before choosing the Bulldogs.
The 6-foot-3, 235-pounder played on Brookwood's defensive line, on the edge and on the interior, as a junior. He could stay at defensive end in college, but he also could be a linebacker on the next level.
