Northern Tool + Equipment celebrates new store

BUFORD -- On Saturday Northern Tool + Equipment is celebrating the grand opening of its newest store in Buford by hosting a customer-appreciation event from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. During the event, there is complimentary breakfast and lunch from Subway and Hooters, live radio broadcasts by WYAY 106.7, ROCK 100.3 FM and WKHX 101.5, ticket giveaways and product demonstrations.

Some activities include tool competitions such as "Name That Tool" and "Tool Scavenger Hunt" for prizes. The top prize is a trip to Biloxi, Miss.

The store is located at 4125 Ga. Highway 20, suite J in Buford.

Sweet Frog partners with Gwinnett County Public Library

LAWRENCEVILLE -- Sweet Frog Premium Frozen Yogurt currently sponsors the reading program with the Gwinnett County Public Library and is in the process of partnering with other local programs, plus adding face painting and balloon art for children in the store.

The yogurt shop, which opened June 18, offers 14 different flavors of frozen yogurt. Some of the flavors include cake batter, chocolate, cookies and cream, vanilla, strawberry and very berry.

Sweet Frog is located in the Lawrenceville Market at 875 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road in Lawrenceville in between Target and Marshall's.
