James Edward “Eddie” Murphy, age 55, of Hoschton, GA, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Elaine Knight Murphy, daughter, Susan Yvonne Owen, grandson, Dylan James Owen all of Hoschton, GA, sister and brother in law, Brenda and Michael Miles of Hoschton, GA, brothers and sisters in law, Johnny Howard and Jane Murphy of Cleveland, GA, Roy Donald and Martha Murphy of Jefferson, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyndell and Dovie Murphy. Eddie was born in Buford, Georgia and graduated from Johnson High School in Oakwood, GA. he attended Foreman Academy. Eddie was the owner/operator of On Site Fabrication, Inc. A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Eddie Murphy will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Masters, Rev. Larry Knight and Rev. Wayne Knight will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mulberry Baptist Church Cemetery.
