BRASELTON -- Do you need an excuse to take a weekend off from the real world? Well, here's your chance.
Starting Saturday (and continuing every Saturday through Aug. 18), Chateau Elan is throwing free concerts for those who stay in the hotel overnight.
Depending on which week you attend, there is a wide variety of acts to choose from. Lauren St. Jane & The Dead Westerners are the first performers to kickoff the summer concert series. Concerts begin at 8:30 p.m. and end at 11:30 p.m.
No tickets will be sold to the public, except for the Sept. 2 show with The Embers taking the stage. Guests receive a concert wristband when they check into the hotel.
Chateau Elan also offers rounds of golf, spa treatments, a winery, dining, cooking classes and escape packages to help you leave your troubles behind.
