The sixth annual Skylar's Run, a 5K and 10K Peachtree Road Race qualifier, will be one of the featured events at Blimpie Fit Fest, scheduled for Aug. 18 at Suwanee Town Center and Greenway.
The event raises money for special needs schools in Gwinnett and for the Special Olympics. It is named in honor of wheelchair-bound Skylar Gwin, who competes in local races while being pushed by his father Paul.
