CUTHBERT -- Former Providence Christian pitcher Glen Williamson is transferring from Augusta State, and will continue his college baseball career at Andrew College.
Williamson was the 2011 Region 5-A Pitcher of the Year his senior season at Providence in 2011, going 8-3 with 63 strikeouts in 60 innings in helping the Stars to a Class A state runner-up finish to Hebron Christian.
He made just four appearances for Augusta State as a freshman, giving up a hit and an earned run in one complete inning of work.
