LAWRENCEVILLE -- More than two dozen Gwinnett Medical Center-affiliated physicians were honored in Atlanta magazine's annual "top docs" issue.
A total of 26 GMC doctors were including on the list, which is comprised of physicians chosen by their colleagues and medical leadership based on their education, professional experience and excellence in patient care. The list was then complied by Castle Connolly Medical, a New York-based health care research and information company.
A total of 315 doctors were recognized, encompassing DeKalb, Gwinnett, Fulton, Cobb and Clayton counties.
"This recognition by Atlanta magazine of our partner physicians attests GMC's achievement in providing exception patient care and medical treatment to the metro Atlanta area," GMC CEO Philip Wolfe said.
