ATLANTA — Police say a Georgia Tech student was awakened by two armed men in his dorm room.
The student told police that when a noise woke him up around 1 a.m. Sunday, he found two unknown men going through his belongings.
The student told police that when he asked the men what they were doing, one pointed a gun at him. When the men left the room, they took the student's laptop and cell phone with them.
Police say there were no signs of forced entry into the room, and no injuries were reported.
This follows a spate of recent robberies of Georgia Tech students. But campus police Deputy Chief Robert Connolly says this is the first time he can recall robbers allegedly entering a dorm room.
