Rebecca Jean Peppers, age 74, of Snellville passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Samuel Hollis; twin sister, Betty Sweat; parents, Homer and Gladys Seagraves. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Gary Peppers; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Karen Hollis of Loganville; daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Tommy Melton of Loganville, Becky and Dickey Watson of Flowery Branch; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Ross Wall of Lawrenceville; eight grandchildren, Brandy, Serrah, Josh, Caleb, Taylor, Micah, Cody, Spencer; eight great grandchildren; aunts, Ruby, Fannie; uncle, Elmer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Peppers was an active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for 35 years where she was involved in many activities. She loved to travel, cook and play Rook with her cousins. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her loving family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A Funeral Service to Celebrate the Life of Rebecca Jean Peppers will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 11AM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, with Rev. Jeff Gongwer, Rev. J.B. Reese and Rev. Larry Mize officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 31, 2012 from 4PM until 8PM at the funeral home.
