Ryan Daniel ("Beloved Buford teacher, coach dies," Jan. 27, 1A) was such a good-hearted guy. I was lucky to be his teammate, classmate, coaching peer and mostly, his friend.
The love and joy he brought to his family, friends, players and students will always be remembered. The overflowing crowd at his funeral on Sunday was a testament to the impact Ryan had on everyone he met.
