The Gwinnett Heat basketball team, part of the Gwinnett County Public Schools' adapted sports program, defeated the Atlanta Wolfpack 26-8 last Saturday to remain unbeaten this season.
Martinez Johnson (12 points), Brice Croxton (eight points) and Stephen Hobson (six points) led the Heat offense, while Rony Jacob, Keitra Douglas, Trintney Whitsel and Derek Clarous also contributed for the victors. The Heat also honored its three seniors players -- Jacob, Croxton and Johnson -- prior to the win over the Wolfpack.
The team's next game is Feb. 11 vs. the DeKalb Silver Streaks at Henderson Middle School.
