LAWRENCEVILLE -- Renovation work will begin next week at the Gwinnett County Public Library's Five Forks branch.
But patrons can still come to the library branch to pick up books on hold or drop off ones that are due.
The project, described as an efficiency upgrade, will be completed in two phases and is expected to be completed in the fall.
Pick up and drop off will be available during the first phase, and in the second phase some other library services will be added, including computer and wifi access, printing and copying services and basic staff assistance.
Those services will be offered in trailers, while the main part of the branch is closed, a press release said.
For library users needing full service during the construction, staffers are encouraing people to visit the Lawrenceville, Mountain Park or Lilburn branches, which are the closest to the Five Forks branch.
