Margaret Ann Price Vandeford, age 76 of Loganville, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012. Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM, Sunday, January 29, 2012 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Troy Shaw will officiate. Burial Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville. A retired cook at Krystals, who never met a stranger, everyone referred to her as “Granny”. She attended Christ Church in Loganville and was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Vandeford, in 1984, and her 2 sons, William & Doug Vandeford. Mrs. Vandeford is survived by: Children: Susan Martin, Loganville; Amy & Kevin McCartney, Snellville; Joyce Waldrip, Lawrenceville; Grandchildren: Amanda & Jerry Blackwell; T.J. Martin & Jessica Beck; Emily Martin & Paul Hunt; Elizabeth McCartney; Ryan McCartney; Julie Whisnant; Adam Waldrip; Great Grandchildren: Cloie Blackwell; Callie Blackwell; Logan Martin; Bryce Martin; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Extended Family & Friends. Family will receive friends from 3-9 PM, Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, Georgia 30052. 770-466-1544. So sorry to hear the news of Margaret's passing. She was such a sweet, sweet lady, and I am sure she will be missed by many who loved her.
