Ticket dates announced for Coolray exhibition

Tickets for the Atlanta Braves exhibition against the Gwinnett Braves at Coolray Field will go on sale as early as today for season tickets holders for both teams with a cascading release date for remaining seats lasting through March.

The Gwinnett Braves will host the first Braves All-Stars vs. Future Stars exhibition game April 3 at 7:05 p.m. as the teams' final spring training game heading into the season. In past seasons, the Atlanta Braves have hosted an American League team at Turner Field as the club's final exhibition game.

Beyond the exhibition game, there also will be a bevy of events around the stadium. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. for season ticket holders and 4:30 p.m. to the general public.

Season ticket holders for the Atlanta Braves and the G-Braves can purchase tickets today at noon at a $5 discount of prices that range from $10 to $45. Partial season ticket holders will receive the same discount and can purchase tickets Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. Non-season ticket holders may buy tickets in conjunction with a ticket package for an Atlanta Braves game or opening day in Gwinnett on Feb. 18 at 10 a.m. and remaining tickets will be available March 10.

Atlanta Braves president John Schuerholz and manager Fredi Gonzalez will make appearances for selected season-ticket holders and there will be an on-field gathering with players and general manager Frank Wren. Two Gwinnett Braves season ticket holders who purchase before Feb. 2 will be entered in a raffle to be honorary managers, those who purchase by Feb. 17 will be selected to throw out a ceremonial first pitch to former Duluth standout and All-Star catcher Brian McCann and two more who purchase season tickets by March 2 will announce the starting lineups.
