HOSCHTON -- Life Line Screening will hold stroke and osteoporosis screenings in Hoschton next month.
The screenings will be offered Saturday, Feb. 18 at Celebration Baptist Church, located at 5560 Thompson Mill Road. The procedures will identify potential cardiovascular conditions such as blocked arteries and irregular heart rhythm, abdominal aortic aneurysms and hardening of the arteries in the legs, which is a strong predictor of heart disease.
A bone density screening to assess osteoporosis risk is also offered.
Screening packages start at $149 and take 60 to 90 minutes to complete. Registration is required and can be completed by calling 1-877-237-1287 or visiting www.lifelinescreening.com.
