The Gwinnett Heat, Gwinnett County Public Schools' Adapted Sports program, remained unbeaten in basketball with a pair of victories last weekend.
The Heat defeated the DeKalb Silver Streaks 32-20 last Saturday behind 14 points from Martinez Johnson, 10 points from Brice Croxton and eight points from Stephen Hobson. In the second game, Gwinnett beat the West Georgia Wolverines 28-22 as Croxton (14 points), Johnson (12) and Hobson (two) led the offense. Kietra Douglas, Trintney Whitsel, Derek Clarous and Rony Jacob played well on defense.
The team's next game is Saturday at 11 a.m. against the Atlanta Wolfpack at The Monarch School in Duluth.
