SUGAR HILL -- The city of Sugar Hill will host a Senior Valentine's Dance next month, encouraging local seniors to create "magical memories to carry on for years to come."
Held Feb. 4 at the Sugar Hill Community Center, the dance will feature music from The Junction Band, billed as "one of the most popular local country and western swing bands to emerge from the dirt roads of metropolitan Atlanta."
The dance will take place from 7 to 9:30 p.m. and will afford seniors the chance to enjoy "an evening with that someone special or take a chance meeting someone new in your community."
Attendees are asked to bring nonperishable food items to be donated to the North Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry. For more information, visit www.cityofsugarhill.com or call the Sugar Hill Recreation Department at 770-831-7413.
