ATLANTA (AP) -- An autopsy indicates that a 20-year-old maintenance man who pleaded guilty to killing a 7-year-old Georgia girl used a sweat shirt to hang himself in prison.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Friday that Ryan Brunn hanged himself Thursday at the state prison in Jackson. The agency said there's no evidence to indicate anything other than suicide, and the medical examiner found no other significant trauma on Brunn's body.
Brunn on Tuesday pleaded guilty to the December killing of Jorelys Rivera, whose body was found in the trash compactor of the Canton apartment complex where she lived.
Brunn was found unresponsive in his cell Thursday afternoon and was later declared dead at a local hospital.

The news media are a jerk. They first told us an autopsy will be performed to see the cause of death. A hanging is pretty obvious to me from the getgo.
