• Brown stew chicken — Chicken stewed and served with steamed vegetables, fried plantains, and rice and peas, $8.50 for large
• Escoveitch fish — Red Snapper (steamed or fried) covered with Jamaican pickled onions and peppers served with steamed vegetables and white rice. Starts at $12, depending on size of fish

The wooden bar is tucked away in the back room with all of its glass bottles displayed on glass shelves and a cooler holding the non-alcholic beverages.
Depending on the day of the week, this spot will have a DJ playing Jamaican reggae music or gospel and a small amount of hip-hop.
On the first and third Friday nights of the month at 7:30 p.m., Jamaica Breeze serves up a fish fry, which includes Albert Shields' famous fry chicken. The fish fry is one of the restaurant's busiest nights of the week.
On Sundays (noon to 3 p.m.), there is an all-you-can-eat buffet, which includes a complimentary drink and fruit cocktail.

"It's my husband's dream, so I just stand by my man," Rosemarie Shields said. "He cooked in his sleep. I couldn't stop him from cooking."
After they moved to Georgia more than a decade ago, they decided to open a restaurant so Albert Shields could "feed the world."
All of the recipes on the menu are either Shields' or his mother's, because she was the one who taught him how to cook.
Out of the entire selection of food, the most popular meal is the braised oxtail, hands down.
"If we don't have oxtail, we can close the doors," Shields said. "On a Friday night, we could cook 80 pounds of oxtail and it will be all gone."
The restaurant also offers sodas from the tropics with exotic flavors: Ting (grapefruit), pineapple, ginger beer, Kola champagne, root drink, Vita Malt and Irish Moss (vanilla).
