SUWANEE -- The Gwinnett County Board of Education voted Thursday night to approve longtime board member Louise Radloff as chairwoman for 2012.
Said Radloff: "I look forward to working this year with the board."
Carole Boyce, an eight-year veteran of the school board, was nominated by her peers as vice chair for 2012. Robert McClure served in 2011 as the board's chairman.
In other school board-related news, Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks said that school board member Daniel Seckinger was making steady progress in recovering from injuries suffered last month from a head-on motorcycle wreck.
