SUWANEE -- Longtime Gwinnett County Public school board member and District 1 representative Carole Boyce has announced she will seek reelection in November.
Boyce said the school board "feels like everything's going well, and we'd like to continue to meet the challenges that are out there and continue to provide quality and effective education to all of our students."
Boyce has served on the board of education since 2005. Her district includes all or part of the Archer, Berkmar, Brookwood, Central Gwinnett, Collins Hill, Dacula, Grayson, Meadowcreek, Mill Creek, and Mountain View clusters, in addition to GIVE Center East, Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology; Hooper Renwick, Phoenix High, Maxwell High School of Technology, and Oakland Meadow School. She is the mother of six children. She was reelected in 2008.
