DULUTH — Gwinnett police are investigating a Saturday night shooting in the parking lot of Applebee’s on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth.
One person was transported with a gunshot wound to the abdomen to Gwinnett Medical Center for treatment, Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. Edwin Ritter reported about 7:30 p.m.
Another person received a superficial gunshot wound and refused treatment, he said.
“There was some type of altercation between a small group of men that ended in the parking lot,” Ritter said. “Investigators are speaking to a person of interest at this time.”
No other details were available late Saturday. Police did not identify anyone involved.
