Woodrow T. (Woody) Wilson of Bethlehem, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at age 70 after a six year courageous battle with cancer, Tuesday, January 10, 2012. He is preceded in death by his son, Tim Wilson. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Shirley Wilson; son, Ted Wilson of Decatur; 1 brother, Tom Wilson and wife Donna of Tennessee; grandchildren, Justin and his wife Missy Amber Wilson; his loving father and mother-in-law A.V. “Pappy” and Ruth Thompson of Decatur and several nieces and nephews.Mr. Wilson was a devout Christian and a member of Hebron Baptist Church. He was retired as a builder/developer of residential property. Mr. Wilson enjoyed antique cars, hunting and fishing and gardening. He loved spending time with his loving family and many friends and especially seeing his grandson Justin perform music. A service celebrating the life of Woodrow “Woody” Wilson will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Rehoboth Baptist Church in Tucker with interment to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
