LAWRENCEVILLE -- Gwinnett County police have issued a Mattie's Call for a Lawrenceville woman on dialysis who has gone missing along with her 2-year-old son.
Flor DeRodriguez, 33, and son Emanuel were last seen at about 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, police spokesman Jeffrey Richter said. Richter described DeRodriguez as a Hispanic female approximately 5 feet tall and 155 pounds with "a condition (that) requires treatment several times a day."
The online listing for the Mattie's Call said DeRodriguez "has no kidneys and requires dialysis." That listing said the woman "may be traveling on foot."
"At this point, we don't suspect foul play at all," Richter said.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the mother and child is asked to call Gwinnett police at 770-513-5700.
