SNELLVILLE -- Eastside Medical Center will host a community health screening next month.

Held from 8 to 10 a.m. on March 15, the screenings will include these offerings: fasting blood sugar ($3.80), cholesterol ($5) and total lipid profile, which includes total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL and cardiac risk factors ($17.80).

The Diabetes Center will also be offering free finger sticks. Screenings will be held in Classrooms 1 and 2.

Participants must be 18 or older and fast from 8 p.m. the night before with "no more than a sip of water to take any required medication," officials said.

Participants should bring their physician's name and address with them. Copies of the results will be mailed to physicians and patients.
