South Gwinnett senior Reid Folkard has signed a letter of intent with the Mercer University men's soccer team. He is the son of Jeff and Karen Folkard.
Folkard, a midfielder, is a four-year letter winner for the Comets. He also plays club soccer for Cobb FC's under-18 regional team.
