ATLANTA (AP) -- Atlanta is one of eight cities selected to host an exhibition featuring artifacts from the Titanic, which sank 100 years ago this year.
"Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition" is set to open at Atlantic Station on April 6.
Highlights include 212 artifacts recovered from eight research and recovery expeditions to the iconic ship's wreck site. A hundred recently conserved artifacts are set to make their debut in Atlanta, never having been publicly viewed before.
The exhibition will also feature historically accurate room recreations and a gallery devoted to local connections.
