DULUTH -- Not only will Gwinnett play a role in determining Super Tuesday's outcome, but it will also be the campaign ground of one of the GOP presidential candidates.

Newt Gingrich, the former House speaker who used to represent the area in Congress, will be a guest at a Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce breakfast the morning of the presidential preference primary election.

Gingrich, who faces former Massachussetts Gov. Mitt Romney, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum and Congressman Ron Paul on ballots in 10 state contests that day, has spent a lot of time in Gwinnett, a Republican stronghold, during his race for the White House. In fact, he stopped in Suwanee for a rally last weekend.

The Chamber event, scheduled for 7:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. March 6 at the 1818 Club, costs $55 for Chamber members and $60 for non-members. Space is limited.
