The Berkmar boys basketball program and its coach took home top honors from the Tipoff Club of Gwinnett, which recently honored the county's best performances from January.
Berkmar was the boys team of the month and the Patriots' Greg Phillips was boys coach of the month. The Norcross girls program was selected as girls team of the month, while the girls coach of the month award went to Parkview's Tony Watkins.
Each school also had one boy and one girl selected to the team of the month. Those selections are as follows:
