GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- Authorities say two people were killed in a fiery crash when a car slammed into a semitrailer hauling dog food, ripping the truck's fuel tank loose and causing both vehicles to burst into flames.
Reports say the car became lodged beneath the semi, and both caught fire after the wreck early Tuesday morning outside a Purina plant in Gainesville.
Authorities say the car was so badly burned that its make and model could not be immediately identified. Officials say the driver was able to make it out of his rig before the fire.
