James Edward “Skip” Turner, age 49, of Dacula, GA, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2012. He is survived by his Wife of 26 years, Kim Haslup Turner, Children, Kyle Brandon Edward Turner and Meghean Renee Turner all of Dacula, GA, Mother, Loretta Duckworth Midwig, Sisters, Kimberly Williams and Deborah Clasing all of PA., Brother, Brian Turner of MD., several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Allen Roberts. A member of the community marketing team, Skip dedicated over 10 years of his life to Dick’s sporting Goods. A Funeral Service to Celebrate the Life of Skip will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. Chaplain J. Mike Bryant will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Susan Cohan Colon Cancer Foundation www.coloncancerfoundation.org.
