Andy and Debbie Young of Braselton announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Caroline Young of Atlanta, to Hamilton Day Giles of Atlanta, son of Mike and Carol Giles of Valdosta.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Warren Wilson College, where she received a bachelor's degree in English and a 2010 graduate of Hollins University, where she received a master's degree in children's literature. She is employed with The Howard School in Atlanta as an English teacher.
The future groom is a 2004 graduate of Valdosta State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in business administration and a 2009 graduate of Georgia Tech and is pursuing a master's degree in environmental engineering from Georgia Tech.
The wedding is planned for July 28 in Highlands, N.C.
