LAWRENCEVILLE -- The Gwinnett County Police Department is looking for qualified men and women to join its department of more than 700 sworn personnel.
Police are looking to fill 20 to 30 vacant positions, said department spokesman Cpl. Edwin Ritter. Starting salary for police officer trainees is $35,023, while those already certified as police officers will start at $37,648.
The fair will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Gwinnett County Police Training Center, 845 Winder Highway, Lawrenceville 30045.
