DULUTH -- The Gwinnett Gladiators roster continued to change Thursday with movement to and from the AHL.
Joey Haddad was called up to Hamilton and fellow forward Jonathan Parker was assigned by Rochester.
The team also signed defenseman Stephen Mallaro.
Those moves come just a day after defenseman Dallas Jackson was called up to Bridgeport and Rochester sent forwards Riley Boychuk and Shawn Szydlowski to Gwinnett.
Parker, Mallaro, Boychuk and Szydlowski are all expected to be available for the Gladiators' game tonight in Chicago.
In his rookie season, Parker has six points in 37 games with Rochester. The 20-year-old Californian played three seasons of major junior hockey in the WHL with Seattle and Prince Albert before turning pro.
Mallaro, 24, joins the Gladiators having skated in 28 games with Elmira, Trenton, Cincinnati of the ECHL and the Danbury Whalers of the Federal Hockey League this season.
Boychuk, 20, returns to Gwinnett after he appeared in four games from Nov. 18-24. The Abbotsford, British Columbia native has earned two assists in 26 games this season with Rochester.
Szydlowski, 21, makes his first trip to the ECHL after putting up eight assists in 38 games this season with the Americans. Szydlowski skated in two games in the AHL with Portland following a four-year career in the OHL.
Haddad returns to the AHL for the second time this season. He's racked up 15 goals and 15 assists in 38 games so far this season with Gwinnett and led the team with 88 penalty minutes.
This is Jackson's first trip to the AHL. The defenseman has 19 points in 47 games, including five power-play goals, for Gwinnett in his second pro season.
