Coach Troy Bendickson's take: Rachel has unbelievable combination of technical skill and athleticism. Her touch on the ball is magic, and she is just as fast with the ball at her feet than without, and her physical strength on the ball is second to none. She is a student of the game with great vision, and so much confidence in herself that she wants the ball at her feet because she knows she can do something with it. Rachel is the definition of a striker. She puts the ball in the back of the net, period.

She struggled with injuries during the season last year, but turned it on in playoffs, helping the team reach the finals for the second straight year. Good luck, Lauren! Let's pray that you can play, injury free, your senior year as a Lady Bulldogs soccer player. Your soccer talents will be needed, especially during the tough Region 7-5A schedule. Your leadership will be needed even more, both during practice and in the games. I have confidence in you and in your teammates, that the North Gwinnett High School Varsity Girls Soccer Team will be a force to be reckon with again this year! GO LADY BULLDOGS!
