SUWANEE -- Officials with Gwinnett County Public Schools recently named two men educational leaders as their predecessors took other jobs within the district.
The board approved recommendations made by Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks to name Eli Welch III as principal at Shiloh Middle and Todd Marschke as principal at GIVE Center West.
Welch was previously an education professor at Argosy University in Atlanta. He takes the place of Principal Eric Parker, who was appointed to become the new principal at Shiloh High School.
Marschke becomes principal at GIVE Center West as Principal Maryanne Grimes takes the helm at Central Gwinnett High School.
Marschke is a member of the 2012 class of the local district's Quality-Plus Leader Academy Aspiring Principal Program. He was previously assistant principal at GIVE Center West.
