The North Gwinnett Arts Association and the city of Suwanee are accepting entries for a juried arts festival on May 19 at the Town Center. The entry deadline is April 1. Artists accepted in the festival are eligible to win $1,250 in cash prizes at the event. Artists are welcomed to demonstrate, educate and sell their art to the public. The number of artists per category will be limited per category, but the NGAA is looking for handcrafted and unique artistry. The NGAA will also have a guest speaker at its meeting on Feb. 23. C3 Studios, a glass art and metalworking teaching and working studio, will offer techniques about technology, equipment and supplies from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Suwanee's City Hall.
